I noticed a broken tile on my second story roof and didn’t have a clue on how to proceed. I used Yelp and found a few recommended companies but I always select owner operated first. I called German Roofing first and a friendly voice greeted me. I told her what I found and she said she would have someone out the next day for a no cost estimate.
Sure enough they showed on time and hopped right up there. I was hoping they could do a simple repair or replace but the guy (who wound up being the owner) shoes me the felt underneath was dry rotted and he said it was probably 6 months old. He also said I had a total of 5 broken tiles which they showed me pictures of and on other spot also had dry rotted felt. And to top it off there were several cement caps busted.
He came down and explained the proper repair and said they would do all the repairs, replace the tiles and remove and replace all the cement caps for a very reasonable rate. And it would be done by the end of the week.
I accepted the offer without getting anymore quotes.
They showed up on time and finished in about an hour. Looks great!
